Spring Conference: Creating a Climate for Change
April 3 – April 4| $395
Creating a Climate for Change has moved entirely online. Crossway, our venue, has closed, as have numerous other schools, workplaces and organizations in the Washington, DC area. The Spring Conference Committee and the Bowen Center have discussed the priority of the safety of the attendees, the presenters, and the staff and have decided to host the conference entirely online. You will be sent a link to access the conference by Zoom. Those in-person registrants who paid for the lunches and reception will be refunded $50. Registration is still open for the Spring Conference. We have extended the Early Bird rate indefinitely.
Creating a Climate for Change is an opportunity for those who study and practice Bowen theory and also for educators, students, policy makers, and community organizers to think together about how to live in better harmony with nature in the midst of climate challenges.
What are facts about climate changes? What is the human impact on climate and how do climate changes affect life on earth? What solutions are necessary? What solutions are possible? What are ways to best manage the anxiety reactions stirred? Bowen theory is a natural systems theory of human behavior based in evolution and provides ways to address these questions that are useful for individuals and institutions.
