Speaker: Anne S. McKnight, EdD, MSW
Today’s world is becoming more challenging and dangerous for families around the world. Whether facing drought, hurricanes, a changing climate, or rising oceans, families are stressed, overwhelmed, and displaced. This one-day conference will address the varying capacities of families to adapt to these challenges, including the impact of migration on a family over generations. The day will consider the importance of the functioning of a family in adapting to changing conditions through a lecture and two videotaped clinical sessions with family member(s).
