The Only Workplace Where You Really Do Bring Your Family: Family Systems and Congregational Life

Presenter: Rev. Amanda Poppei

Rev. Amanda Poppei has served as a Unitarian Universalist minister for 12 years. While applying Bowen theory in her personal life, she also uses family system concepts in her sermons, her classes for the congregants, with the Board of Trustees, and in other church work. She will discuss her thinking and experience in the application of Bowen theory to faith communities, followed by a dialogue with Rev. Jake Morrill who is an Associate Faculty at the Bowen Center.
