Elayne Chou, Ph.D., Licensed California Psychologist #17287, is a counseling psychologist who specializes in working with individuals and families from a cross-cultural and Bowen family systems approach. In her 22 years of professional experience in independent practice in Oakland, California, she has worked successfully with hundreds of psychotherapy, career counseling, and executive coaching clients. She has a specialized focus on working with Asian Americans, as well as in providing adoption-competent therapy to Asian adult adoptees and their families. She has worked with numerous employees through her consulting and executive coaching services to organizations large and small, where she has conducted teleseminars, webinars, trainings, and workshops on career development, leadership development, team development, and cultural diversity topics. Elayne serves on the Advisory Board for PACT, an adoption education organization, and is an adoptive parent. She is able to see clients, via telehealth, who are located in California.
